As the newly appointed President of SIBN and the successor to Dr. Allan D. Chafins, I find myself both humbled and profoundly grateful for the overwhelming support I’ve encountered. Dr. Chafins had the unique gift of treating everyone like an old friend, often punctuating conversations with his famously terrible jokes, yet always leaving you feeling deeply connected and valued.

I wholeheartedly share Dr. Chafins’ vision of leveraging the internet as a groundbreaking platform for spreading the Word of God. At its inception, this vision was nothing short of revolutionary, transforming what was predominantly a space for entertainment into a vital channel for spiritual outreach. This was particularly impactful at a time when regular church attendance was on the decline.

Embracing the mantle of leadership bestowed upon me, I am exhilarated by the opportunity to advance this noble mission. It is clear that our collective efforts are crucial in perpetuating the remarkable legacy Dr. Chafins has left us. I earnestly seek your prayers and support as we endeavor to broadcast the Gospel—the Good News—to every corner of the globe, reaching out in all directions: North, South, East, and West.

I extend my heartfelt thanks to the Board Members for their confidence in me. To our Station Owners, let’s continue to strive forward with renewed vigor. To our Show Owners, the time has come to elevate our mission to new heights. Lastly, our deepest appreciation goes to our listeners, whose unwavering support and engagement are the bedrock of our community.
